    Reseating JTS in 2008 & 2009 ?

Question: If you planned on bowling in the endzone in 2009, would a reasonable person go through the quandary of reseating JTS in 2008 or does it even matter ?

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

Ya, but it got locked out soon after it was started. (unexceptable language) I used the symbol $$ for a couple of ss'. My bad.

I really find it hard to believe that JP would reseat the stadium two years in a row. Makes me wonder if Phase II might be further down the road than I hope.

how would bowling in the south eliminate seats to necessitate reseating. The biggest problem this year was that seats were being eliminated fro suites. And he upped donation levels to keep seats in certain areas. My guess is that bowling in adds some seats and anyone in the south endzone now would likely be able to keep their seat at the same donation level.

Without reseating this year, where would people sit who were put out of their seats with the new suites being buit?

I would expect that MAJOR reseating changes will be made when the south endzone is bowled in. I would guess students will move to the endzone like many schools do.

Yea one can only hope, that and let the students take over one side of Hilton rather than make us sit under the baskets.....like that'll ever happen

I agree. The people currently with endzone seats wouldn't be much of a problem. However, moving the student section out of the East stadium down to the South stadium would mix things up a bit.

It would really free up a lot of good seats for donors along the East side. Plus less people would complain about jacking up the stadium volume

For Hilton, all arena/parquet seats on the side now go for a minimum $1,120/seat (donation and season ticket). If you are in the center 2 sections on each side it is a minumm $1,750/seat for the season.

So, I am guessing you are right that it won't happen.

    Re: Reseating JTS in 2008 & 2009 ?

I would NEVER want the students to be moved to the south endzone. For one thing, that's way too far from the field. The thing students are best at is creating an INSANE amount of noise. That would be severely negated by throwing them as far behind an endzone as the bowl will be. Those are going to be great seats for some families and other folks, but not for the student section. Plus you don't want to separate the band and students (again), and there's no way the athletic department is going to put the band in the bleachers again. That would leave the north endzone bleachers open, and nobody wants to sit there...

Why we did not reseat the stadium this year, ISU just lied about reseating to extract more $$ from donors.

They did not lie. They just wanted to get everyone to the correct donation level for the area in which they are sitting.
