    Deal of the day

Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote Control--$85.25 after rebate. They are normally about $150.

And before anyone asks "why pay $85 for a remote?", just talk to someone that owns one and has multiple components.

See that's my problem, no kids. I'm guessing this remote will be cheaper over the long haul.

    Re: Deal of the day

    My problem is:

one UHF device (Dish DVR), one BlueTooth device (PS3) and two IR devices.

anyone know of one remote that will solve that?

As it stands right now it's not possible. Two totally different technologies that operate it completely different frequency spectrum.

I know there are IR remotes you can buy that have a USB dongle for your PS3, but I don't know if any of these are supposed to be able to control other peripherals as well. Also since the USB dongle exists the ability to power on/off is not possible for the PS3

    Kinda blows

I was thinking they made an 890 or something that handled UHF. i have the same issue with the PS3 though.

I refuse to base my purchasing decisions on rebates. It's a scam and I've been burnt one too many times.

    Dongle? That just sounds naughty.

Lol, you guys started using gutter talk, and all of a sudden the bottom banner is for Hawkeye ringtones...

Or it could just be dmclone's signature. Either way, let's get these things changed. In the same spirit:

Pancakes pancakes pancakes waffles waffles waffle maple syrup rasberry syrup blueberry syrup boysenberry syrup crepes pancakes waffles breakfast eggs sausage biscuits gravy waffle waffle waffle syrup.

    Take that, Google Ads!

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.
