    re: British open

I guess I'm just a bad golf fan, but without Tiger playing in a major, I just have trouble getting fired up for it.

This is Sergio's chance to break-through. Sergio Garcia by 5 shots.

    Re: British open

Kenny Perry has been playing very, very well lately. I wouldn't count him out.

I'd like to see Phil take it down.

I am pretty sure that Kenny Perry is not playing in the British.

Also Phil is terrible at the British. I went with other. I would not be suprised if Sergio wins it

Kenny isn't playing in the British. The reason he's been winning is because he's skipping majors and playing in the "smaller" PGA events, trying to qualify for the Ryder Cup. I really don't mind, but it's a controversial strategy in the golf world. The Ryder Cup is in his home state of Kentucky.

    Re: British open

Well they haven't played this course since 1998. I think it may finally be time for Sergio. Jim Furyk seems to play well over there, so I will throw his hat into the ring.

    Re: British open

Truthfully i agree Sergio has been doing much better lately, but I would definitely cheer for Furyk or another Sergio/Padraig showdown!

    Re: British open

Tiger might be good enough to win it without showing up.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.
