    CO 2 rationing

The Labour government in the U.K. has proposed giving all British adults "carbon allowances" that they would be required to spend along with, you know, real money when buying gasoline, airline tickets, electricity or natural gas. Britons who wanted more credits than they were issued could try to buy them again, with real money from those who hadn't spent their allotment.

CO2 credit business or the selling black market carbon items? Both look to be pretty lucrative....

    Re: CO 2 rationing

I wish I had come up with carbon credits. It's the biggest scam ever. Purchasing something that doesn't need to be produced or tangible. It's the best thing since the Emperor's new clothes.

"How did you become so wealthy?"

"I am a carbon credits trader."

    "So what do you do?"

    "It's complicated."

    Re: CO 2 rationing

Carbon credits were created so that certain wealthy, elite environmentalists could continue to live extravagant, carbon-burning lifestyles and maintain the moral high ground. Plus, it has the added bonus of allowing them to control all of the plebeians with excessive taxation.

    Re: CO 2 rationing

What the heck is happening across the pond ?

Here are someother stories from the past few days about our friends acrossed the pond.

    1) Police Dogs have to wear 'booties' when they sniff through the residence of Muslims

    2) From the UK Telegraph

Toddlers who turn their noses up at spicy food from overseas could be branded racists by a Government-sponsored agency.

The National Children's Bureau, which receives 12 million a year, mainly from Government funded organisations, has issued guidance to play leaders and nursery teachers advising them to be alert for racist incidents among youngsters in their care.

This could include a child of as young as three who says "yuk" in response to being served unfamiliar foreign food.

The guidance by the NCB is designed to draw attention to potentially-racist attitudes in youngsters from a young age....
