Question If we beat Missouri, do we rush the field?

Dan's last game. Tough season. Do we rush the field at the end if we win....and how about if lose?

I think we should - unless we lose really-r-e-a-l-y badly.

I was thinking about this last night.

    Yes

I can feel it, we will win this game. Mac will also be carried off the field.

A standing ovation... and cheering like he's never heard before will do good too. But "if" we win, ...by all means, get that guy up on someones shoulders and carry him off!

Since when do we have to be professional as fans?

I have zero doubt that the players will take care of that.

I would think a constant cheer of "THANK YOU MAC...THANK YOU MAC..." would be more appropriate.

okay, so it looks like half of us will rush the field while the other half stands and cheers!

Re: If we beat Missouri, do we rush the field?

As an alum (then student) who's been on the field at Kinnick in '02 chanting "Cyclone State" to the wins over our hated neighbors to the West at Jack Trice in '02 and '04, as well as our huge win over Iowa in '05, by all means get this guy on the fans/players/students shoulders. I know that I'm somewhat sentimental :) but for what he's done for this Athletic Department, not just football, will transcend his career win/loss record here at ISU and deserves to be carried off like a hero.

How 'bout a standing O and chanting Thank you Mac? Sounds good to me!
