    sansa e 260 help

My sansa e260 has been working fine for me for almost a year now. Now, whenever I turn it on, it will freeze if I go to any song out of my one album. I can't update the firmware, since when I hook it up to my computer, it constantly is there, then is not. Then, it only charges intermittently. Any help out there? Thanks a lot.

Is it still in warranty? I'd start there.

It sounds like you need to at least try a hard reboot on it. Remove the battery for at least 1 minute, then hold down the main button for 30 seconds. Insert battery, power it up and see if that works.

    Re: sansa e 260 help

It was a firmware problem...I reinstalled the firmware, and now it works fine. However, all of my songs got deleted.
