    Las Vegas trip

I realize just about everyone has already made travel arrangements for Las Vegas, but if you haven't, you may be able to save a lot of money. A news item on WHO-TV this morning talked about financial woes in every part of LV, including airlines and casinos, (four have filed for bankruptcy already, and seventeen more have had their credit reduced). Now might be a great time to set up your trip if you haven't yet.

    Re: Las Vegas trip

In case this hasn't been mentioned, Allegiant has added a second flight out on Thursday (9/18), and a second flight back on Sunday (9/21).
DES MOINES (DSM) to LAS VEGAS (LAS) Depart:Thu, Sep 185:25 pm-6:30 pm Flight 1445 Nonstop

LAS VEGAS (LAS) to DES MOINES (DSM)Depart:Sun, Sep 2110:00 am-2:40 pm Flight 1443 Nonstop

Prices are still outrageous, but as we get closer, I expect them to gradually fall, if they can't get these flights full.
