HELP: Dead animal in the walls

I just got back from being out of town for a few days and I get in my room and all I can smell is a rotting animal. There is some sort of dead animal in the walls or someplace that I can't find. Does anyone know anyway to get rid of the smell or the animal?

She's tied up in the closet so that's not really an option.

Already used a bottle of it. The smell is pretty brutal. Febreze and rotting animal do not make a good mix. Anyone have any experience with this before? How long until I can sleep in my own room? Should I start tearing down walls?

My aunt had a cat die under her floor. Took a long time. Months.

I would call an exterminator. They will be able to locate it and remove it with minimal damage. Plus, they can find if there is a nest or more and take steps to prevent it from happening again...

It all depends on the size of the critter. If it's a mouse, maybe a week. Something bigger can take a while.

Are you sure there's not a horse head in your bed?

I need to not read the board while eating breakfast. I'm either going to need the Heimlich from choking on my bagel or need a new keyboard from spitting out my diet Dew all over it.
