    Tim Brewster??

Dienhart of the Sporting News says current Broncos tight end coach Tim Brewster is a big-time candidate to replace Mac. He was an assistant under Mack Brown at NC and Texas. He sounds like a great hire. According to the Texas fans he is a great recruiter and helped lure Vince Young to Austin. I wonder if he would be interested?

Can you give us a background on him?
    What does he do now?

I personally don't think he needed to coerce Vince to Texas too hard. Vince is from Houston, which is about 2 hours drive to Austin. He probably grew up a Longhorn's fan.

    Re: Tim Brewster??

He is the current tight ends coach for the Denver Broncos and finished second to Zook for the Illinois job.

    Re: Tim Brewster??

I just don't know... going from a tight ends coach to a head coach? For my money, I'd rather see someone with at least coordinator experience. But, look at Ferenz, did he have coordinator experience coming into IA? If memory serves me, he was the Ravens' O-line coach...

I might be wrong, but I think kirk might have been head coach at Maine. I didnt take the time to look it up, but it sounds familiar.
