Last year's season opening loss to the Flashes was nothing short of a kick to groin, metaphorically speaking, for Iowa State and its fans
I don't know about you guys, but after that game was over the pain in my groin was in no way metaphorical

Wow I'd put the confidence rating at UNLV at 60 AT BEST.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

Good writeup. I agree. Not homerish, but still gives hope.

Agree completely. That is exactly how I see this season playing out.

I especially like the "land of hemp clothes and hairy women" line about Boulder.

I have a feeling Paul hasn't spent much time in Boulder.... if so he probably would take those comments back. The town is full of rich, athletic hotties.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

I liked that the article was about how the team should feel about the game now that we should necessarily win or lose.

It is about 50/50. Either totally smoking hot and from Chicago or California, or else a complete hippie and from Chicago or California. As a typical midwestern sort, the times I have been there I have not really felt all too welcome. The school is a dump though. Yeah, mountains are cool, but I seem to remember all the buildings looking exactly the same.

I would disagree with the prediction of Kansas State more likely than Baylor. Dont underestimate the transition year. Also I have a hard time buying that Oklahoma State is the 2nd most likely game that we will lose.

I think he is spot on with this. Our guys are going to be lucky to keep the game within 3 TD's, IMO.
