    Twins-Indians Series

I think that the twins should take 2 of 3 of these games. They really need it and they are hungry for a win. Mabey the white sox will get swept and the Twins can pick up some games.

Gardy needs to shake things up a bit after getting smacked by the Palehose like that. Maybe he should demote or cut a player loose (like Rincon).

Not a good sign when a team gets dominated like that and they don't drill someone with a pitch or have a few "hard" slides into second. Sure didn't show much fight in getting swept.

If the "One" Rincon goes into any more games this season, I'm going to give up on that game, it's a lost cause

I wouldn't count on it. The Sox are red hot right now and the Tigers look like they're about ready to roll over. Willis has been a HUGE bust and Bonderman is out for the season. I really don't think they were planning to fill two SP holes in the middle of the season.

I don't think the Sox will sweep (although they'd take another one!!), but they've owned the Tigers the past couple of seasons, even 06 when Detroit went to the series. Look for the Sox to take 2 of 3, especially with Contreras pitching the first game tonight.

    Go Sox!!

You might be right. Tigers looked tired and weak last night. I can't believe how terrible Willis looked. I actually felt bad for him. He couldn't find the plate and he was hitting about 87 tops. I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone with his contract, and a Tiger nonetheless...

All he could throw for strikes were breaking balls and he appeared to be having a panic attack. One of the worst pitching performances I've ever seen (and I watched Sidney Ponson pitch for the Twins several times last year). Orel Hershiser (in the booth for ESPN) sounded completely appalled. He couldn't beleive what he was seeing either.

Anyone else see this game last night?
