    It is that time again

I haven't seen a starting line up thread in the last couple weeks. So, even though I hate them, I am starting one.

I think this is probably pretty accurate. I can still see DG and Petey splitting time, just because Petey is a little more controlled and was nailing 3's at the end of the year. DG is a lot more physical and has the quick hands, though.

i think bryan peterson could actually be decent as a two guard if he could spot up and shoot. maybe he should learn how to develop a floater incase he ever pump fakes and drives.

    G- Diante G.
G-B. Peterson( just a feeling that McD will want his "experience".)
    G/F-Lucca
    F-Brackins
F-AT( at least the beginning of the year.)

Id like to see what Buckley has(especially in Peterson's spot), hopefully he gets a lil more PT than Diante did his frosh season. Diante showed big flashes last year, but didnt get much recognition til the last several games.

    Right on the money.....
experience wins out at least at the beginning of the season. This exactly what I think will happen at first.

Re: It is that time again

Haluska DID start last year when Wesley was injured. So I think it'll probably be

    1 - DG/Peterson
    2 - Haluska
    3 - Lucca
    4 - Brackins
    5 - Thompson

Atleast at the beginning of the season
I'd like to see someone that can start ahead of Thompson though Unless his offense improves tremendously, because it wasn't too impressive last year. He's good on defense though. Hopefully JVB is better than Thompson. I think Haluska will probably start at the 2 spot because Lucca is taller. Haluska impressed me at the tail end of last season. If he can come into next season shooting like he did at the end of last season than I have no problem with him starting.

By the end of the season I'd like to see DG and JVB emerge as starters. I also would like to see buckley get a lot of playing time.

I can't take it, if Peterson and Thompson are starting I'm giving up my season tickets. I'll take developing a freshman any day.

AT is at least tall. I like Petersen and all, and he really tries hard, but the guy is not a big 12 player. Sorry.

    Pg- Buckley, BP, Diante
SG-Diante, Sean Haluska, Wes E. Booze, Cam
    SF-Lucca, Clinton Mann
    PF-Craig, LA
    C-JVB, AT
Something else I've been hearing is that Craig might play the 5 next year, in which case JVB or Mann could play the 4.

Why do people say "sorry" when being critical of people? I hear it all of the time on sports television/radio. That along with the "I love the guy but..." statements drive me up the wall. OK, pet-peeve rant over.

What about Pomlee? I know he's not a scorer but getting a shot blocker out there could really take some pressure off of Brackins on the defensive end.

What makes you a "Big XII player". Brian already played one Big XII season. He averaged 28 minutes per game. He averaged 6 pts and 3 assists. A/T ratio of 1.6. Not too bad for "not a Big XII player".
