    Mac's next career

The guy should go into politics. He would run a positive campaign, he would try hard and make the people feel good. And no matter what his opponent says, the spin master will turn it into a positive. Of course, he may lose because he will tell everyone how great his opponent is and how they deserved to win.

    Re: Mac's next career

Alright, I know we've all had our frustrations this year and the team is a big embarassment. D-Mac is a very big part of that. Etc, etc.

But we aught to have a little more respect toward him.

For Dan and the seniors, I hope a good crowd shows up when they play their last game.

    Re: Mac's next career

Although I sincerely doubt he'd take the demotion, I think it would be interesting to see Mac as a D-coordinator. I have a feeling he's going to wind up in the athletics office working for Pollard, much like what happened with Bobby Douglas

    Re: Mac's next career

Mac would never take the demotion and I can't imagine him taking an office job either. He's a coach - it's in his blood and he's not close to retirement like Douglas.

D-Mac would be a perfect Assistant/Associate Head Coach. Too bad it won't be in Ames.

    Re: Mac's next career

Nice one, Lastplace. I've often thought of Mac as "that" guy.

Seriously though, why would Mac want to take a lesser role in the dept? He surely has enough $$ to be financially stable unless he plans on living until he's 250 years old.

1.1 mil/year was said to be larceny, however it is a felony under ay state law.

    Re: Mac's next career

I see him moving the the Mid-American Conference, he could really do some special things being .500 each year in that conference. Miami of Ohio at 1-9 might be looking for a new coach and he would fit in great there.

That's true. Unless they build a custom-made office for Spin DMC where he has a long corridor to pace back and forth and clap repeatedly, I don't think he would feel at home.
