    Coaching possibilities

How about Dennis Erickson? He has been very successful with a number of college teams, and not so impressive in the NFL. He's still collecting $2.3 million a year from the 49er's and has done an impressive job this year with Idaho.

    Re: Coaching possibilities

How about Norm Chow - Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator? I've heard he'd like to get a D1 HC job. He's just a wizard with the offense and look how his QBs at USC turned out. Imagine the recruiting too...

    Re: Coaching possibilities

Why would Erickson give up $2.3 million a year to get less than half of that at ISU and listen to everyone ***** at him every year.

    Re: Coaching possibilities

Erickson could never control his players and Norm Chow would be too pricy, we need a younger, possibly cheaper head coaches, I would look at guys like Pelini, Venables, Paul Rhoads, Mark Farley, guys sort of like that!

    Re: Coaching possibilities

As long as we're sipping the kool aid and sittin back, just havin a good time, I'm gonna go ahead and say the names Craig T. Nelson with Rick Morainis as assistant.

On the other hand, Harbaugh is a very attractive candidate because he hasn't coached an upper-echelon program, so it may be possible to snag him for a reasonable price. I'm sure Jamie knows what he's doing, leaving this discussion entirely pointless. Oh well, still fun to think of the possibilities.

Erickson is currently at Idaho, and I know they can't afford $2.3 million/year. That money comes from the 49ers when he was fired.

LOL- Saw them play New Mexico State (yeah they are bad but getting better) what a crazy game. The WAC has some crazy coaching and aerial circus stuff going on. At least the Vandels have an offense.

    Re: Coaching possibilities

Just as long as Neuheisels' (sp?) name doesn't come out again. I about threw up when I heard Ken Miller bring up his name.

There are plenty of young coaches at smaller schools reunning the spread offense quite well that we can pick up in our price range. Whether or not the name makes a big splash, I don't really care. Just find someone that can coach.

Way to many dark clouds there! Clean Programs etc. besides his sports betting wasn't making him any money anyway.
