CFN/Scout: Projected Big 12 Starting Lineups

    LINK: http://cfn.scout.com/2/759033.html

Spotlight on Kurtis Taylor, with a note about Christopher Lyle stepping up this Spring.

Scales at RB is suspect, but they do have Collin Franklin at TE, so they have done at least a little research.

    Everything else looks about right.

QB and OL are still toss-ups, in my opinion.

    Is it August yet?

Re: CFN/Scout: Projected Big 12 Starting Lineups

Is Catlett really 6'4"-251? That's pretty big for a fullback, isn't it? I would think you'd want someone a little lower to the ground, but if he gets the job done, I don't care if he's 7'2".

Plus, isn't it more of an H-back in our offense? In that case, the added size would be a bonus.

Jeesh. Nebraska loses their whole team next year. (9 on offense and 8 on defense)

Chris Brown tore some ligaments in his knee around spring game time. Is he expected to have recovered from that in time to play?

    Seneca Wallace.

I've seen posted a few times that Brown is expected back by August, but I don't remember if the sources were credible.

Nope, he was only a Redshirt Sophomore last year.

Wasn't there word on Lamaak switching inside and on the other side of the ball. I though replacing Tom Schmelling's position.

It's also possible, if not likely, that Brandon Johnson won't start at center. While they did some research, they didn't do a lot of research.
