    Twins on a roll

Completed the road sweep of the Royals tonight. Won 5 of 6 and 7 of 10.

Good to see them winning some close games and great to see the offense putting up some runs for the young pitching staff (er Livan).

Bring on the Yanks for 4 at home.

    And still two back ;)

I really don't appreciate how the Twins manage to do this all the time. LOL

Slowey was great tonight! Hopefully, we can keep the momentum going against the Yanks!

No reason why we shouldn't get 3 from the over paid idiots in New York.

It would be nice to get Baker back and possibly get Boof into a different roll. He's really struggling.

We'll learn a lot about Perkins in the coming weeks as teams start to get more film of him. I personally have had about 100 at bats against him in my life, and we always challenged him pretty good. He would dominate anyone he hadn't faced before.

Speaking of Perkins, I could really go for a chicken tender melt right about now.

    They're coming to get you...

Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

They are 18-9 against the Central Division... hopefully that's a great sign of things to come the rest of the season.

Being a White Sox fan...I am shocked when looking at the top two slots in the AL Central! I never would have predicted this! I am happy though...both teams are really beating up on the Central...keep the Tigers and Indians down as much as possible so when they get it together it could be too late!

    Re: Twins on a roll

    Agreed: honestly, I would have chosen 1. Detroit, 2. Cleveland, 3. Chi-sox, 4. Minnesota, 5. Royals.

I would have flipped the 3 and 4 spots. Honestly...I had such horrible feelings about this White Sox team that I just hoped we would finish ahead of the Royals! I know Ozzie catches a lot of heat for his comments but I really think he has done a great job this year. That and the 3, 4 and 5 spots in the rotation are pitching tremendously!

Sorry for hijacking this post...I know it is supposed to be about the Twins...my bad...

The Yankees are going to roll the Twins this weekend, just like alway.

No worries. You hear a lot of comments on how this division isn't very good this year. I think they're beating up on each other.

Ah the Yankees...they are the one team that unites the rest of the AL...as a White Sox fan, I don't root for the Twins much (or any other AL Central team for that matter) but I hope the Twins have a good weekend!

I enjoy walking into the Metrodome with my Yankees gear on, it is fun to go back and forth. Every once in awhile you get the guy who throws is popcorn and beer at you when the Twins hit a home run and you have to straighten him out but usually the Twins fans enjoy it as well.

Wait a minute...no one should enjoy walking into the Metrodome for a BASEBALL game! Just kidding...kind of! I went to a Twins-Brewers game a couple of years ago and when I left I had to convince myself I had just attended a MLB game! The new Twins ballpark is going to be awesome though...well...maybe not if the Twins are out of it in September on a weeknight game. They deserve the new digs though...gonna be fun to watch outdoor baseball in MSP!
