Las Vegas - First Timer's Review

The Mrs and I are wrapping up the last day of our week-long Vegas vacation and I thought I'd let you guys know that I'll be writing a first-timer's review to post tomorrow. Hopefully I can provide some insight for those that will be going to the ISU FB game this fall and haven't before been to Vegas....

    Jeremy

Here is a quick excerpt that should entertain a few...

Well the Mrs and I had front-row tickets to Blue Man Group last night and I was not happy when we left....

First - at the start of the show they have a big LED sign that they have fun with. They first want everybody to welcome a special guest, some lady that won a Gold Medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Then they have them welcome a guy that helped map the human genome. Then they pick me... "Let's all welcome Jeremy Lind. Jeremy is an average person that hasn't really achieved anything and is nothing special. Let's all welcome Jeremy by having him stand up... That's enough Jeremy, we're all really bored with you, sit down!".

    Then the show starts...

About half way through the show, they're doing a skit and they take a camera that is on a long cable out to the front-row audience and pan across them. Of course they came my way...

The blue guy stopped, put the camera right in my face and then made me open my mouth. He then proceeded to shove the garden-hose sized camera in my mouth and displayed my tongue and wonderful fillings on the 75 foot screen at the front of the stage. He then shoved the camera down my throat and continued to push it down until it wouldn't go any further. After about a foot and a half of camera and cable were in me, they pulled it out and finally left. All of the time, this was on display on the big screen with everybody reacting.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Hopefully donations to this site won't be required after your trip to Vegas...

They selected my son (when he was perhaps eight years old) out of the crowd to participate in a magic show at Ceasar's Palace. However, in that situation they were not condescending. In fact, they had the entire crowd chanting my son's name.
