I'd rather walk on my lips through broken glass then to go to one of those events that insult my intelligence by thinking I would believe 1% of what I might see has any shot at being real.

WWE doesn't pretend it is real. I haven't followed wrestling in years, but I have no idea what you're talking about.

I'd rather watch WWE anyday than watch cars go around in a circle. The best days were back when you had the ministry vs. generation x vs. the corporation....

And then the Corporate Ministry. That twist they threw in was awesome.

No, because for all purposes it was reborn as TNA after WWE bought out WCW. But I hear what you are saying - the NWO was WCW's glory years. I mean, turning Hogan, Macho Man, etc. all into bad guys - well, it gave WWE a run for their money for years. But then it got old, became lame, and became the downfall for WCW.

I actually haven't really watched wrestling all that much since I was full time at Iowa State. I might flip through RAW or IMPACT when there's nothing on the tube late in the evenings, but other than that the storylines just aren't compelling anymore (and haven't been for the better part of this decade).

Vince Russo was the downfall of WCW. He made David Arquette the World Champion. I mean, come on.

I'm still waiting for the WWE to have a 15000 volt thunderbolt octagon cage electric bomb death match.
And yes there was one in Japan...

I remember a little bit later on when the Corporation was targeting the Rock (this was when Triple H was part of the Corporation and married to Stephanie). Something the Rock said that evening has stuck with me since. Vince, Shane, Triple H, and Stephanie were all in the ring smack-talking the Rock, and the Rock just let it out...

"Vince - your role - KNOW IT... Shane - your mouth - SHUT IT... Triple H - your _____ - _____ IT... Stephanie - your panties - SNIFF IT..."

    I died laughing that night.

    Re: WWE

I took my son. It was a good time. They put on a good show. I have never walked away from a WWE show disappointed. I don't watch much any longer. I stop by when flipping channels just to watch a few minutes. My son was having a blast. Asking which guys to root for and then cheer for them. Good times.

So your cousin is dating that enormus goofy looking guy Festus? Where would she meet a guy like that.
