Here are some recruits that we should keep an eye on this early in the recruiting process. Im just pointing out a few intriging ones that most people do not know about yet. This list will change especially after the summer camps but in light of all the Wesley Johnson stuff I thought this would be fun.
It's good to see people starting to get excited about recruiting. Looking over the list of CR prospects, there are some pretty impressive possibilities, however I seem to remember last year at this time thinking the same thing, only to see them disappear one-by-one and we ended up signing mostly unheralded kids we hadnd't heard much about. Would be good to see us pick up one or two ranked guys early to get some momemtum going. Anyone have any ideas on who the really hot potentials are?
this is going to be a very critical class for chiz and co and a lot of it will depend on the performance of this years team. win games and get some better players. lose games and i think we know the rest by now.
Do we have any commits this year other than the OL kid from Eastern Iowa? (Who looks solid by the way)
"I think that people are responding to someone standing up and saying this is what we want to do and let's not be afraid to go for it,'' Pollard said. "I think Iowa State has a very conservative, modest background. We never pound our chest and say `Let's do it.' It's OK to set a goal. You can't do it if you don't say what you want to do. You should be proud of it.''
