    Vendors in Hilton

I heard a rumor that Jamie Pollard is getting rid of a lot of the vendors that were in Hilton such as the walking taco's because "it looked too much like a circus."

Has anybody else heard of this? Walking tacos were great if you didn't have time to eat between work and a game.

Getting rid of walking tacos would be no different than banning water - they're necessities!

    Re: Vendors in Hilton

I will start a meltdown bigger than this WJ stuff if they are getting rid of walking tacos.

Getting rid of walking tacos because it is circus-like, yet continuing to sell "Hot, Roasted Nuts"?

    Re: Vendors in Hilton

JP and the Walking Taco vendors never got along. His style of management didn't jive with their meat and cheese slinging ways. I saw this coming. I see most of these vendors ending up at the Iowa State Fair.

    Too soon???

I just laughed out loud at work.

What about clone cones? Will they be the next to leave? Who's next?

    Re: Vendors in Hilton

Seriously though...there are few better combos than a walking taco and pop in the first half and then a clone cone in the 2nd half. The only thing that could possibly make that better (other than a side of winning every home game) would be beer with that walking taco. It's pure bliss.

I say that because I've heard rumors from people that have ate a walking taco and drank a beer with it in Jack Trice Stadium on gameday. No real first hand knowledge...just rumors...

Rumor has it the clone cones are coming back even though they are not happy with the system their employers use to get them into the cone. They want a more up-tempo system to showcase their skills.

    Re: Vendors in Hilton

I have absolutly no idea about the validity of this rumor... however let me provide you a ligitimate, first hand insider tip.

    SWEEPING UP WALKING TACOS SUCKS

You people that spill them or flat out don't eat them...
Though I will grant you they aren't as bad as an uneatten Clone Cone - those are the worst.

    I hate peanuts too
Not the biggest fan of nachos when they tip over, but they cause few problems than the aforementioned snack foods.

Seriously people, Hilton is not your trashcan

    True that.

Or maybe that it didn't cost $12 for those things.

    Re: Vendors in Hilton

I heard that JP wanted to shut the lights off in the bathroom during the game and only turn them on at half time and during timeouts. No one should be out of their seats anyways, and its a good cost savings measure.
