Are there others like me: saving credits for football?

If I gambled, I would do so solely on college football...and then, I would probably limit myself to the first four weeks of the season...picking 70% winners against the spread out of 10 games is not really all that hard...

I am saving my credits all summer for that time frame...I hope to be up to around 600k by then, then time to make my move to take over this 'competition' ;)

I'm in the same boat. Plus, I don't have a lot to play with. Baseball is just way too hard to bet on. It's really a toss up day in and day out.

Do tell. Baseball seems like a total crap shoot. Any given day absolutely anything can happen.

The same can be said of nearly any sport. I have made a majority of my credits recently on betting baseball. I simply watch the starting pitchers and recent trends and go big on whoever makes the most sense. Since I know the most about the Cubs, I have used them to amass my fortune.

Re: Are there others like me: saving credits for football?

If I was betting with "real" money, I'd probably bet on college football as well. But right now I can't resist betting on some baseball to hopefully built up for the football season.

I've learned there is truth to that saying... "There's no such thing as a sure thing" or however it goes.

Yeah I am doing the same thing. I cannot get into baseball yet, and there is pretty much nothing else that interests me for sports until the Olympics start.

I hear by apologize for not posting many new events this summer, I need to get off my butt, but this travian addiction has ahold of me!

I have never understood the baseball lines...mostly because I just havent cared to.

That being said, Dempster on the hill tonight looks pretty good....I have no idea what the 'line' is...that's the part I dont get

Re: Are there others like me: saving credits for football?

I like to bet baseball when the moneyline's get posted. It's too volitile a game to pick run differentials. Keep track of SP's and it's a good way to win some credits.

Easy money (credits) on the Spurs last night. You knew the Hornets would succumb to their(Spurs) playoff experience.

Re: Are there others like me: saving credits for football?

I have gained about 400k betting on baseball and the NBA, and would have won a lot more if I hadn't been screwed over by a couple huge bets. My eventual goal is to catch jeremy, cys_8vr, and Thunderdave, but I don't want to risk all my credits on one thing.
