    Forget Wesley

Yeaa Wesley johnson was a GREAT player, but lets just focus on what we have...Yeah its hard and i feel backstabbed, and im angry, but Wesley wont start at Kentucky he'll sit out a year and ride the bench, Thanks for all the effort and all the excitement you brought us Wesley, but thanks for walking out on us like you did, your pathetic on how you did it...i lost all respect for you good luck in the future

We still have alot of talent, but losing Wesley hurts alot. I hope Brackins can sit and realize that he is the face of Iowa state basketball now, and he will be a legend if he continues his career.

I'm with you! This basically sums up what I am feeling right now!

Also, if he does go to Kentucky, they will be my least favorite team....yes, even more than Iowa (got to admit, I hate Iowa less now that they have The Lick)

It's hard to hate a team that's so beatable. It would be just like hating USC-Upstate!

    Re: Forget Wesley

I will never forget Wesley just because of the way he left. The players that we have now are just as capable as him, so i expect the best out of them.

You lose all of your credibility right here, and it turns into sour grapes. Wes will start from the moment he's eligible at Kentucky.

    Re: Forget Wesley

So season three go to shooter is Craig, after Wesley second season, and Mik first season? Wesley was only worth three or four wins anyway. Go to means you can get the shot off against pressure.

Let Prohm's Posse Ride: Georges, Hallice, Deonte, Abdel, Monte, Matt, Jordan, and again McKay.

I agree 100%. We weren't going to be good with him, so what is it really going to cost us? Nothing, and we can concentrate on building for the future.

What have those players shown to make you think this?

Oh come on, this entire board was expecting big things Wesley's senior year (if he hadn't already gone to the NBA. Remember that speculation). We lost a very good player. There is no need for sour grapes. The way Wesley handled the situation should be enough justification to forget him.
