    Rep power

It would be nice if rep power had commas.

    Re: Rep power

Sometimes members will give you + rep if they like your post or - rep if they don't. The rep power gives you an idea of how much + rep someone has gotten.

    I agree.

Or, how about using scientific notation? I'd like mine to read:

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life:
The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves Orcs. ~ John Rogers

Or convert it to credits and get rid of it once and for all.

Lord knows I could use the credits. It's a good thing we have credits - if I bet in real life I'd be dead broke by now.

An adjustment or elimination could certainly be used. However, simply converting rep to credits, IMO, would be unfair.

well not 1 to 1, like 100k:1 or something.

    Re: Rep power

Well, I think that to make it fair to those of us under the middle class line we should have a cutoff somewhere where it goes from a 1:1 trade off to a 100K:1 or something. Just for simplicity we should have the cutoff be somewhere 10-20K above mine.

It just wouldn't be fair to have a flat trade off like that when the little people are taken at the same rate as you top earners.
