    Boys can jump....

Mike Taylor broke Rahshon Clark’s school-record for step vertical leap with a jump of 39 1/2 inches...Clark had the previous record at 37 1/2 inches.

Wesley Johnson broke Will Blalock’s school-record for standing vertical leap at 34 inches...Blalock’s record was at 33 1/2 inches...Johnson also broke ISU’s record in the step vertical leap with a 41-inch jump.

Two guys that can jump higher than R. Clark - WOW

By the way I am assuming Taylor broke the step vertical and then Wesley broke Taylor's record.

    That is certainly quite interesting.

We could see a whole lot of big plays this winter.

Another reason the '06-'07 Cyclones will be fun to watch!

Drew - there are SO MANY comments I want to make about your accomplishment, but I'll refrain.

    Re: Boys can jump....

the biggest part about this is GMac will teach these guys to get into positions where they can actually use all this ability. I don't know if it was because of coaching or the zone defense or both, but last year the ISU players never seemed to be in the right place to rebound the ball. There could also be some great highlight film, but first they need to do the simple things that win games right.

I knew Johnson could jump... but didn't realize Taylor was so good!

Human backdoor dunkarama. Take that Kansas.

How high could Will Blalock jump?

Really is amazing to think of the athletic ability that will all be on the floor at one time. May not translate into wins right away, but it should make for some bring the house down moments.

And Wes Johnson at the 4 on Friday... Rahshon and Wes can have a highlight film competition during the game!
