Fennelly Could Become Our Winningest Coach Ever

An article in Sunday's QC Times projected that Bill Fennelly has the possibility of ending up with more wins than any other coach in any sport in ISU history.

He currently has 280 wins and only 3 coaches are ahead of him:
    Dr. Harold Nichols 456
    Cap Timm 342
    Bobby Randall 309

At his current rate it would take him 8-9 years to pass Nichols.

No discredit to those other coaches...but I'd love it if Bill left on the top of that list.

Bill should be at the top of the list, didn't he sign a really long term contract, and basically offer that he will retire at ISU?

I think that ISU gave Bill a lifetime contract and he will stay as long as he wants. Just think of it as a Joe Pa deal or a Bobby Bowden deal.
