OT: Best 'twist' in a movie?

I'm always a fan of a 'twist' in a movie that makes sense or takes everyone by surprise. That means it 'got' me and I didn't see it coming. Doesn't mean you have to like the movie either, necessarily. Can be a 'WTF?!' moment.

What are some that you have locked away in your memory bank as good ones?

Mine would be, in no order:

    *Se7en
    *The Game
    *Psycho
*The Departed (did NOT see that elevator scene happening)
    *Primal Fear
    *The Crying Game (ick)
*The Sixth Sense (hated the movie though)
    *The Prestige
    *Matchstick Men
    *The Usual Suspects
    *Magnolia
    *

The Mist had a pretty twisty ending.

Primal Fear is the first one that comes to my mind and is probably my favorite. I think you listed all of the best ones.

FANTASTIC list - and has some of my favorite movies on there. I'd probably add "Frailty" and "Fight Club" (even though I knew it was coming, since I'd read the book), and that sums up my list, too.

My problem is that I often guess the trick ending. I was working while some people were watching "The Village" in the same room, so I wasn't really watching. About 20 min. in, I said, "I bet that it's XXXXX." They all laughed me off - and then that was the big surprise.

Sticking with "Sixth Sense"...it's the definition of what a "twist" should be.

The Others had a pretty good twist ending. Definitely one of the better non-violent horror films I've seen lately.

Memento -- not so much a twist as trying to figure out the right plot sequence.

I was younger when I saw it last so I don't remember a whole lot about it, but what about the movie "Frequency"?
