Jamie Vanderbeken and Juco all star game

Did anyone know how the players for Juco all american and Juco all star game are selected? For Jamie Vanderbeken , he is not on any team or honorable mention for Juco all american, yet on juco all star game, which just confuses me. Or maybe he was chosen because some of the all americans chose not to play all star game? Anyone in the know?

Also anyoone happen to know his stat on the all star game?

That is certainly weird. You would think that he would have been selected for everything. But, who knows.

I THINK you have to be a sophmore and on a team that makes the National tournament, but not sure...

That would make sense. Kind of like a senior game, give the JUCO's leaving one last chance to audition for programs.

I heard Jamie didn't play well in that game.

Centers very rarely have great numbers in allstar games. The guards
    control those games.

Tyler didn't actually make the JUCO Tournament. They were the number 1 seed in their region but lost in the first round of the regional to the 8 seed in triple overtime.
