    Forgetting Sarah Marshall

My wife and I saw it lastnight and I was very impressed. I thought it was pretty funny. The cast does a bangup job. I could have done without seeing the male anatomy so much, but everything else was stellar.

    Re: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I've heard the movie was excellent, I hate seeing movies in theaters, but I'll definitely watch it as soon as possible.

Not to thread hijack on the first reply or anything, but does anyone else hate going to movie theaters? In my scientific studies I've found that 94% of movie goers are inconsiderate a-holes that talk/crinkle food wrappers/laugh at inappropriate times and I just want to punch them in the throat. I don't know what the last movie I've seen in a theater would be, it's been atleast 2 years though.

I thought the movie was great. It is one of those comedies that I would love to watch again. I just wish they could cut out the clips of his dong!

I sometimes hate it. People who answer cell phones and talk annoy me the most. Seat kickers come in second.

I really didnt like how the couple ahead of us brought their 7 year old to this movie. There was nudity and foul language and you cant tell me this kid doesnt pick up on that. I remember when I went to see the 300, there were little kids in there.

Lots of male genitalia, but my first thoughts are it's a decent movie. I went to see it with my wife and as far as 'date' movies go, I'm glad it wasn't our first! The British rock star guy was extremely funny. Funny movie all around, I could have used more Bill Hader.

If you hate going to movies in Iowa, try going to movies in a big city. Much worse in all these areas. Unfortunately, I really like going to movies.

Bill Hader was awesome. He makes me laugh without saying anything. You are right about the British guy, his part was well played.

My wife and I were looking forward to seeing this movie, but we both came away a bit disappointed. If you've watched the commercials you've already witnessed a large % of the funniest parts. Overall, I would rate it as decent but not great.

Just like the excessive genital shots in Walk Hard.

    Re: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

My most annoying movie moment was when a girl's cell phone rang during the movie. Now, most people frantically reach into their purses to silence their phones if that happens. This one casually opened her phone and began a conversation, completely oblivious to the fact that she was ******* off 200 other people.

The movie was The Passion of the ******.

    Re: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I can't wait to see this movie. I love Jason Segel and all of those guys from "Freaks & Geeks" - I love that Judd Apatow keeps using them. Glad to hear it was good.

I am generally a pretty passive person, but there are two places where I turn into a ***** - the airport and the movie theater. I am the master of the throat-clear-and-nasty-stare. People who are too dumb to understand the movie should just wait until it comes out on DVD to see it. I WILL laugh at inappropriate times if the movie is laughably awful - I did that at Pirates 3 this summer, for example.

    Re: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I either have a really good time or a really bad time at the theater, usually depending on who is there. People are really obnoxious and oblivious at the movies and in Chicago you are paying $10+ much of the time to see a movie. I prefer DVDs in general.
