Do you get tired of eating hamburgers?

Even though there is not a McDonalds or any franchised hamburger restaurant within 600 miles of where I live, I find them on almost every corner when I visit a city.

What is your favorite hamburger restaurant?

How many burgers do you eat over the course of a month?

Do you eat burgers because you like them or due to the convienance?

Re: Do you get tired of eating hamburgers?

I love burgers, but haven't been eating too many lately since I'm trying (and succeeding) to lose weight. I eat a fast food burger, and a restaurant/bar burger probably once a month each. My favorite fast food is probably Culvers, but a big part of that is that you can get cheese curds there as well. BK Double Stackers are a close second.

The ABSOLUTE, BEST BURGER EVER can be found at Red Mill in Seattle. Two locations- Greenlake and Interbay neighborhoods. If you are ever going to Seattle for some reason, PM me and I will give you the details. Absolutely the best burger I have ever had! The place is smaller than Battle's BBQ when it used to be on Hayward, and the line usually extends out the door but it is totally worth it. They don't have the burger's best friend, beer, but they do have good milkshakes. Oh, and excellent thick-cut onion rings too! Also, once there was a homeless man there who used the side of the restaurant as his personal bathroom, but don't give him any money, he had an ipod.

I used to love eating from Wendy's 99 cent menu, can't beat a JBC. but my news years resolution was no fast food burger joints and i've stuck to it. I've basically exchanged them for eating more sub sandwiches (Subway, Jimmy Johns, Sub City, etc.) Lately Subway's 5 dollar footlong deal has been clutch.

I'm afraid that going to Jimmy John's is no better than a trip to Wendy's. Even Subway isn't much better with mayo and other toppings.

well i am kinda weird with eating burgers, i only like bun, meat, cheese, ketchup. I don't like veggies on burgers but I love them on subs for some reason. So rather than eating french fries and a burger with beef, bacon, cheese and ketchup. I eat a subway sandwich where I usually get some kind of meat along with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and so on. So i am at least getting more veggies in my diet.

A good burger is at Gordon Bierch with garlic fries, and of course a beer to top it off.

Re: Do you get tired of eating hamburgers?

Those are some good questions, alaskaguy.

To be honest, I have really cut way back on eating burgers, especially at fast food joints. Not because I am on a weight loss program but just because they don't sound that great to me. I can make a better tasting burger at home on the grill.

My favorite fast food place is probably Culvers but rather than the burgers I often get the Rueben. Lately I have been on the quest to find the best Rueben sandwich and order that if it is on the menu anywhere.

The place I always order a burger is the Barrel Drive-Inn in West Union, IA. A High Boy and onion rings is the old standby.

Re: Do you get tired of eating hamburgers?

i LOVE burgers. A good burger is in my top 5 favorite foods. I'm forever disappointed with steaks in steak houses (I usually find I can do a better job on my grill at home), so I'll generally order a burger in such places.

My favorite fast food burger is a Wopper, no cheese. But I rarely do fast food. My favorite places in Omaha for burgers are Fuddruckers, Louis M's Burger Lust and Stella's in Bellevue.

The best burger I have ever had, without question, is from C.B. & Potts. Beer is great but the burgers are fantastic.

That's pretty sad that the best burger you've ever had was from the coast.... I've spent many years of my life on both coasts and have nothing good to say about their pork or beef, besides it's cut really thin...

I love burgers, my stomach and intestines do NOT love burgers, so I don't eat them anymore. Last burger I had was in Jamaica, grilled burger with jerk sauce and caramelized onions on top with mango salsa! YUMMY!

Re: Do you get tired of eating hamburgers?

During the colder months I'll grab a burger at a great place, but that is maybe once every 6-8 weeks. During the summer, its strictly the grill on the back deck. That's where the best burgers are! Probably once every week or every other week.
