    RIP - Danny Federici

    The first E Street band member to pass away, no doubt he will be missed. His organ and accordian music is an unmistakable part of Bruce and the E Street sound. Rest in peace.

    As a lifelong fan of the E Street band I was aware that Danny was sick but am surprised that he passed away this soon. Whenever I hear songs like "Sandy" I will always think of how great Danny was. A very sad day for Bruce fans and fans of music in general.

    Springsteen and The E Street Band in Ames during the Born in the USA tour was THE best concert I've seen. Over 3 hours of music. It was probably the most fun I and 15,000 people had for roughly $25. Thanks for the memories and the music Phantom Dan...

    Nope, Clarence (The Big Man) Clemons is moving a little slower on stage these days but he can still belt it out. If I'm not mistaken, I think he is the oldest E Streeter at 66 years old.
