    Jared Berggren

With all the Stinnett discussion earlier this week, I forgot about our other visitor last weekend. How did Jared's visit go?

    Re: Jared Berggren

I walked into Jack Trice behind GMAC & Berggren last Saturday. Berggren went to a different gate with one of the players.

A guy next to me asked GMAC, "Do we really want him?"...pointing to Berggren.

GMAC's response was, "We need some bodies".

My friend and I got a good laugh.

That doesn't sound anything like what a coach would say regarding a visiting recruit.

Coach isn't recruiting bodies. He's recruiting players.

I was just posting what I overheard and saw. I was actually surprised when I heard it too. My friend turned to me and said, "nice".

Personally I think GMAC was just trying to dodge the question and conversation with this particular "fan".

I love GMAC and have been thoroughly impressed with his recruiting thus far.

I also know that Berggren has time to add some weight and muscle to his frame before he ever gets to campus.

He may have meant big bodies as opposed to little bodies.
