    CIETC gets even juicier

CIETC witnesses tell of forgery, love affair | DesMoinesRegister.com | The Des Moines Register

All I have to say is you are quite desparate if you are going to bed with Archie Brooks, ewwwww...

How this whole mess ever was covered up for so long is just baffling. Seems like every week brings a new twist of corruption.

I just threw up in my mouth thinking about those two getting busy!

If I were going to use taxpayer money to 'get busy', the first thing I would have done was fire the Cunningham dog and hire some gal with better 'qualifications'. Gov. Spitzer from NY seems to have a bit better taste.

This gives the term "misappropriated funds" a whole new meaning.

    Re: CIETC gets even juicier

It is sickening to hear this day after day... But I can't ignore it. I am riveted to the coverage. I can't believe this many people are playing stupid.

The one smart thing they are all doing is pointing the finger at Cunningham...

You can point the finger at about anyone involved in this mess. It's incredible how all this went on without anyone blowing the whistle on it sooner.

I think everyone in the State is pointing the finger at her. Everyone that I have talked to wants to see her in a stripped suite punching out license plates.

Time for a Lifetime Original Movie
John Goodman as Archie Brooks. Joan Lunden as Cunningham.

    Re: CIETC gets even juicier

I'm wondering what impact Ramona's fake insanity will have here. If everyone is pointing the finger at her, and she's incompetent to stand trial, what happens? Does everyone plead to a lesser charge and walk away while she sits in a mental institution for a few years pretending to be insane?

For you lawyers or wannabe lawyers out there, what do you think?

Not a lawyer at all, but I mentioned this same scenario to some coworkers yesterday.
