    Seneca Wallace Update

Doctors found damage to Matt Hasselbeck's medial-collateral ligament, injured Sunday on what some Hawks say was a dirty hit.
He could miss as much as a month. Mike Sando of Seahawks Insider assesses the situation thusly:
Every individual is different, so we don't want to rule out an earlier return. But remember when Mike Holmgren suggested Shaun Alexander might miss a couple weeks? They seem to err on the side of caution, which makes sense when you are dealing with franchise players such as Hasselbeck and Alexander. I'll be a little surprised if Seneca Wallace isn't the quarterback for the next three games or so.
Those three games are at Kansas City, and home to Oakland and St. Louis.

Actually, what I saw I thought he looked pretty good, other than the interception. The fumble was the blocker's fault for letting him get blindsided.

I agree w/you, rapplegt. Seneca barely got the snap and was already blindsided. It may be the optimistic Vikings fan in me, but I think their run D gets some credit for that game.

    Re: Seneca Wallace Update

I had Hasellback so I am trying to pick Seneca up off of free agency. I've been dying to do that too. I have been waiting to see him get his shot.

    Re: Seneca Wallace Update

I'd love to start him in my league, but I got Peyton as my starter, and he's already had his bye.

Eh, I'll try and grab him anyway, just for the sake of having him. :-)

    Re: Seneca Wallace Update

unfortunately Seneca will have a very succeptable offensive line to try to operate behind. It will showcase his scrambling abilities but won't be a stat - maker.
