I listened to about half of yesterdays game, and it is shocking how incredibly bad the Cyclones are. The TT guys are still laughing at how easy it was to come into Ames and kick the Clones around. TT did a bunch of stupid things that kept ISU way closer than it really was. 42 points! This is the same offense that scored 3 point against TCU earlier in the year!
This is the 3rd time in Mac 12 years that a season that looked like it could be a decent one turned into a complete train wreck. There is absolutely no excuse for how poorly this team is prepared and coached week in, week out.
I watched the Iowa game yesterday while listening to the Clones flounder and at one point in time they listed all the Hawks that had been hurt during the season including several DBs and OL. The huge difference I see is that when someone from Iowa goes out, the next guy is ready to go. You don't see a glaring drop off, even if the guy coming in is a walk on. Is this because Iowa recruits better or coaches better, or both? At this point in time I don't care! It is time for a change. Even the most stubborn Mac supporters have to see this now.
