That was the shining moment of the band this year. It was so bad it was funny!

I did like the proton torpedo, that made me laugh.

    Re: Geek Test

the 'other ship' it was attacking had the word Iowa or Hawkeye on it... when the photon torpedo (bantan girl hit the 'other ship') the crowd cheered... it was the week before this years Iowa game. UNI maybe?

BTW: that picture was taken close to my seats.

The other ship was the USS Reliant, it was the ship that Kahn hijacked in the second movie.

    Re: Geek Test

That was pretty good - I think it's the only time I've walked to the West side just to watch the half time show... and it was completely worth it. The firing of the "proton torpedo" into the Iowa "ship" was great

Are you trying for bonus points in the Geek Test?

Would it be paid in bookie credits?

I think you just get a new title below your name. Like Trekkie God, or Shatner Homer or something like that. I've yet to read the bylaws to the geek test yet. I'll let you know.

Actually, that would be a Romulan scout ship from the original series.

And to be specific, it's the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701. Also, the weapon was a "photon" torpedo, not a "proton" torpedo. Proton torpedoes are a Star Wars weapon, while photon torpedoes are from Star Trek.

This was at the UNI game, and I wish I could have had higher-up seats to watch it, as I knew it was coming.
