    If I am not mistaken....

The head coach at Stanford got ejected from the game sat. night by referee Curtis Shaw. The same Curtis Shaw that tossed LE against Mich. St. in the regional finals.

Whoa, weird. I just posted the exact same thing in the Betting Board thread before I saw this.

    Curtis Shaw is a joke.

I hate Shaw and think he's a horrible official...but in his defense tonight there is probably not an official out there that wouldn't have tossed that moron when he came across the court while the Marquette guy was shooting free throws. At least Eustachy's team was getting bent over when he spazzed out and I'm pretty sure he knew he was going to get the boot when he went off the deep end. Stanford's coach was just an idiot tonight.

Im just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard, Eustachy joked. If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, hell be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.

He needs to get over himself, and focus on doing a better job of officiating.

He's also the one that threatened to throw out John Walters when he made a comment on the radio about the officiating. Dude has some sort of vendetta against Iowa State. Or he's just awful.

Re: If I am not mistaken....

Would a referee even have the ability/power to throw Walters out of a game?

I think it's happened before to Cincy's announcer if I remember right. The refs also threw out an Oklahoma State fan earlier this year.

Has any other coach been thrown before yesterday since LE?

If there was ever a time in the tourny to get Ted up it was when LE got it. His team was getting screwed and he had enough.

ESPN showed a montage of coaches getting tossed in the NCAA tourney and Eustachy didn't even make the cut. I was shocked. I think it was Huggins, Dean Smith, and Rick Barnes that they showed.
