    Cap League, then and now....

Just thought I'd do a quick observation of what I saw last summer and what we saw this season.

    * What you saw Diante do at the end of the year is what he was doing all summer, except he seemed to hit more 3's in the Cap League.

    * First time I saw Craig B. I thought he was too thin, but he did put on some muscle between July and November, I was pleasantly surprised. That's a great thing for next season.

    - however he was jacking up 3's way too often, much like he did this season. He did show a wonderful touch inside, which we saw too little of this season, perhaps because of the competition and his lack of strength.

    * Lucca can shoot from anywhere, consistently, and had good ball-handling skills.

*A. Thompson was awesome last summer, I expected more this season, let's hope he steps it up on the offensive end this winter.

*Did Petey and Eminecker play in the Cap League? I don't remember them.

    * I do remember Parker and Young from Drake tearing it up and a few others on the Drake team playing well, John Michael Hall was unstoppable some games, but only played a limited role this season for Drake. I remember thinking in July that Drake might compete in the Valley this year, but not to the extent they did, sheesh!!!!!

I can't wait for this summers league, it should fun!!

Petey played in the CCL last year. I remember thinking, who the heck is this guy? Good job out of him this season.

So true, one thing I love about Petey is he never gets down and maxes his potential. It will be nice when he doesn't have to bring the ball up all the time next season. He should get some good looks at 3's next season.

Ditto. I chuckled at him the firs time I saw the guy - I honestly thought he was one of the HS kids.

Actually the Cap city leauge was very accurate

I recall almost everyone played pretty much like they did during the season, including Drake players. The exception was Cory, who was was the mvp in my opinion. But whats his points per minute ratio when does get to play? it is pretty high i bet, he just needs more playing time during the winter.

During the football season, the basketball team had scrimages in Hilton before the game. Buckley played in at least one of those.
