    IPod Advice?

I've been thinking of buying an IPod Classic. It seems like everyone has an IPod these days and the Classic 80GB looks pretty good. Does anyone have any advice?

    Re: IPod Advice?

I kept my 80gb video when I got my Touch just because it's nice to have so much memory. They don't put out a ton of updates anymore, but it's a really nice model.

If you have a lot of music (and I mean a LOT), get the iPod classic... otherwise, go with the new wave and get the Touch.

The Touch is sweet. I still have an old school 40gb Ipod but the next one I buy will be a touch.

Yikes, I have a 4G nano and it is still only 1/2 full.

    Re: IPod Advice?

I have an 8G nano and it doesn't even come close to holding half the music I have (not that I listen to all those albums anyway. Just sayin...)

The 80GB wouldn't even hold 1/4 of my music collection :(

I just got an 8GB nano and don't think I'll be filling it up anytime soon.

    Re: IPod Advice?

I have to pick and choose what I want on there to keep it at the 80gb, but it's great when traveling.

I would really strongly recommend the Touch, but it is a lot of maintenance to constantly be swapping out songs if you have a large music library.

    Re: IPod Advice?

I have had the Nano (4GB) for about a week now and it works well. How much time do some of you spend on your Ipod that you need so much memory? I only use mine when I work out so I don't need a ton of music on there. Maybe I need to start using it more.

I listen to mine while I work - so its great to have an assortment of songs on it to give my day some variety.

I like to put my whole library which is about 25gb.

I guess I listen to Yahoo Music when I am at work so I don't bring my Ipod. I would need more songs on it if I had to listen to it all day though.
