So CyBookie is turning into real life

Friends and I are road tripping up to Mystic Lake tonight...anyone have any tips or specific machines that are good bets so I come home with more money than I leave with? If only they had a $25,000,000 jackpot I could win so I could bowl in the endzone

Stay away from the ones that you put money into, but don't get it back!!

Only play things that you understand. The casinos feed off players that do not understand the game they are playing.

Yeah, but there were times when I was in college that I was just praying that it would pay out.

That by far is the best machine. I usually win the first few times I try it, and then for some reason I can't win again after that.

I usually stick to blackjack at the Casino. Can never win at anything else. However, one lonely night with no money I made a killing on a penny slot machine. I won a $110 off of a $5 initial deposit.

I don't know if that's such a good idea. The gray hairs get me every time! They are pros at that game!

I've had descent returns playing black jack, but there are a couple of things that I try to remember. More people is better. You never want to play a table with only 2 or three people because that increases the odds in the dealers favor. Also, if you don't know what you are doing, never sit at first or third base (first chair or last chair). If you don't make the right moves, you can kill everyone at the table.

If you know anything about blackjack, that's the game with the best odds. Mystic Lake has $5 tables for Blackjack, I believe. If you're looking for some more activity, learn how to play craps. I hardly know anything, but when I went to Vegas last year, a bunch of my friends learned and had a blast. I spent all my time kicking *** at the blackjack table.

Yes, the book says for you to do that. But I've made better money off of playing my own game. Play your hand the way you want to, but if you are going to do that, don't play with a full table because I'm sure you'll get someone that is upset with you for hitting when a dealer is showing a 5. I've always found, if you play long enough the only way you are going to win money is on the double downs and splits. And keep your bets steady. Don't go all in on a hand because you've lost 10 in a row. The odds stay the same every hand and don't go up if you are always losing.

I love playing single deck 1 on 1 with a dealer. Can play like a 100 hands an hour. It's a ton of fun.

Craps is a lot of fun, when you have a bankroll. Unless there are some really cheap tables at mystic lake. In Vegas it's usually $10 to play the line and place bets are an additional $10. That's a minimum of $20 to get any type of action going. A couple of cold shooters will take out a meager bank roll pretty quick.

I know of one of the dive casinos that has $1 craps during the day. $1 craps + free beer + 4 hours = a lot of fun.

Craps was intimidating at first...both financially and playing a game I've never played. The dollar table eased at least one of those.

The San Fransisco on Freemont had $2 Craps tables, had a blast there.

So blackjack was great...until the dealer switched. The dealer I had when I joined the table busted left and right...then the dealer switched and so did my fortune. Went from being up $22.50 in an hour to down $20.00 in a half hour (college kid, don't have much money but decided the $26.00 I lost altogether was affordable). I have no idea how to play craps and I'm not sure I actually saw any craps tables.
