    Reese vs Butler

Which of these two rumored targets appear to be a better prize and a better fit for our team? Brad Reese of Gulf Coast CC is 6-6 200lb, Jimmy Butler of Tyler, Texas JUCO is 6-6 215. The better and more versatile offensive player might look better on the surface, but a defensive/high-energy replacement for Rashon might be what we really need.

Does anyone know much about these guys that can offer some insight? Sounds like we have a better chance of landing Reese, but if Butler can defend, I'm liking the sounds of a guy who also scored 43 in his last game and attempted 21 FT's while playing some PG.

Butler originally commited to Miss State out of hs, but they were out of schollies. I believe he is a slightly better player than Reese, but more schools are after him than Reese. FWIW, I think we would take both of these players if possible.

I like Butler. No offense to Rahshon but he did not fit well in Gmac's system. I think we need to fit a different need than Rahshon. We need a scorer/Rebounder. Not a defense/rebounder. Then hope that the scorer/ rebounder can play some defense also.

We need both of these guys. I love that we would get them both for 3 years. I would be surprised if Gmac went after a JC big, as they seem have a difficult time transitioning to the next level.
