    Henry Rollins

Did anyone go to the Henry Rollins thing at the Val-Air last night?

If so, what did you think?

I remember when Rollins came to CY Stevens for a free show (speaking show) when I was in college. Probably '96 or '97. I wonder how much it's changed since then.

    Re: Henry Rollins

I've seen him several times at CY Stevens. Always puts on a good show. Equal parts funny and thought provoking. He has some pretty strong anit-consumerism views, and those are fine, but it's his little anectdotes that make him worthwile. He has a great story about being stalked by a fan. And he has some interesting ideas on carjack prevention. His theory? Drive with your windows down, listening to Slayer, on full volume, wherever you go. If you do that, then would-be carjackers tend to choose other targets.
