    Toros sign Stinson

    NBA Development League: Transactions Index

    March 6: AUSTIN
    Acquired G Curtis Stinson.

Not much news, but it's good to see him land in Austin and a heartbeat away from the NBA Champs!

Hmm. Would it really be worth a trip to an NBA D-League game to watch a former Cyclone play?

I believe Blalock's D-League team will be coming to the Well later this month.

I hope this is an object lesson for early draftees, everywhere.

I wonder how Stinson is enjoying his $20,000 a year?

Well, he was making $0 a year at ISU. I guess something is better than nothing.

He did what he thought was best and would give him the best shot at the league. I can't fault the guy.

Curtis left school because his mother had a heart ailment. You can't blame him, as he was just trying to provide for his family. Every coach I have ever had has said family comes first.

Well, I hope he is at least attempting to get a degree, or something, on the side.

Hate to see a guy screw himself. I've done it to myself enough to know it hurts.
