    ImOn Cable Company

The other thread reminded me - I needed to do some research on cable companies for my mother.

She's in CR and can't have a dish - so her only option is cable. Refuses to go with Mediacom (she's smart like that). She has been told about ImOn - a cable company in the CR area.

She's heard their services is much better and cheaper prices. Any feedback?

Also, she does have DSL with Qwest but I noticed ImOn has cable internet too - would like to hear about the quality of that as well.

ImOn Communications - cable TV, Internet and phone service for Cedar Rapids and Marion.

    Re: ImOn Cable Company

It's the old McCloud network, as I understand it. They're really not any cheaper, and their internet isn't as fast (on paper). That said, I've never tried them, so they might be really good. /shrug

    Re: ImOn Cable Company

I think ImOn is pretty comparable to mediacom, except ImOn also offers DSL to go with cable internet. Their internet is not as fast as mediacom's. They have the btn, other then that I am pretty sure the channel offerings are about the same.
