    Best Cash Back Credit Card?

Looking to get a better credit card. What is the best cash back credit card people have found? For me, the rewards have to be redeemable in Iowa. Opinions on points vs. cash back?

I use discover, the cashback on it sucks.

I use the BP visa. Gets me discounts on BP gas and also cash back to do as I please. Not sure the rate on it at this point. Its not the best out there, but Im happy with it.

My gmcard gives me 5% back to buy GM cars. They keep trying to make me switch to platinum but I know better - 5% is a nice kickback. Citicard only lets you accumulate 2% for any type of car.

We have the Chase Freedom card and are making a decent amount of money on them. We use that card to pay for everything we can and then pay it off each month from our back account. Works very nice. :)

I use Chase Perfectcard. It's 3% on gas purchases and 1% on everything else. All cashback.

Re: Best Cash Back Credit Card?

My ex-gf's father had a GM card and he's a big chevrolet type guy...and I think he said every purchase he made on it he got a certain percentage added that he could accumulate to put towards a new GM car I believe....something around those lines.

Ha, looks like we all use Chase cards. Apparently they are the best so far.

Re: Best Cash Back Credit Card?

Does anyone have a Credit Card through an Airline Carrier??? I was looking at one travelling back and forth from Maryland, but now that I'm back in Iowa really wouldn't be of use and I think you have to pay a fee for each year.

Sorry to take this off subject, but does anyone use ingdirect as a savings type deal? I used that quite a bit this past summer and was bring in 45-50 bucks a month off interest!!! Works nice when you do it for 6-7 months

Re: Best Cash Back Credit Card?

If you spend a large amount of money (aka big purchases), Discover seems to be the way to go. They give 5% cash back on $6500+ purchases from a review I read earlier. I was actually looking at this today - as currently we share a Chase card. It's been tough to balance it (keep paying it off currently with the right amounts) being we both use it, so we're getting another so we each have one.

I decided to go with Chase again, as 3% cash back on common purchases and 1% on everything else suited me the best. I have a $250 check on it's way to me right now for purchases we made over less than a year.

hmmmmmmmm.... . I must look into this. currently I spend ~4000 per month on business expenses and never carry a balance.

5% on that is pretty sweet.
