    NFL COMBINE

I have been trying to find any information on how Bret Meyer has been doing but I can't find anything about him, and very little about the other guys from Iowa State that I thought were invited to be at the combine. So if anyone has any info on these guys that would be great to hear on how they are looking.

Bret Meyer will never be in the NFL. He might be able to play football in Canada or even the Arena league but never look for him in the NFL.

Bret will work out at pro day in a couple weeks. I doubt he sniffs the NFL but I enjoyed watching him play here.

    Re: NFL COMBINE

Don't rule out Meyer in the NFL. Anyone remember Todd Doxson (Sp)? I didn't think he'd see the NFL either but he did for a minute.

I'm kind of a big deal!

    Re: NFL COMBINE

Todd Doxzon was a lot better than Meyer IMO.

That's a bold statement. Atleast Doxzon had a great running game during his days of starting. Bret had 1 season out of 4 that he had a steady running game to help him out. A lot of QBs would have struggled the last two seasons here IMO. I do miss the days of the "TD offense" though..
