    underneath jerseys

I know this is not a big deal.........But does it bother anyone what we wear underneath our jerseys. I really can't stand those baggy XXL white nike cut offs underneath our jerseys. I think that it looks really bad. I really hope that the new nike uniforms(tight top) see Texas and others becomes the status quo. I am hoping that with our new logo, our uniforms will be changed and be like the new jerseys that come out. What does everyone think? Am i really anal or does it bother anyone else?

    Re: underneath jerseys

I think that look pretty ugly also. I do not see the purpose of them, I think they would get in the way more than anything. Hopefully you are right and we go to the tighter tops.

    Re: underneath jerseys

I like the baggy shirts underneath personally. People didn't like black shoes, socks, or baggy shorts either, but Michigan and the Fab 5 changed that.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

    Re: underneath jerseys

ya i dont like the tight tops.. i find it uncomfortable

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Re: underneath jerseys

I really think that's a personal preference thing for the players. I'd rather have our guys feel comfortable with what they are playing in and let the look slide a little bit. They aren't dictating what the football players wear underneath their pads (I think) or if they wear sleeves or not, so why the basketball team?

    Re: underneath jerseys

I think Boozer and CJohnson don't wear the undershirt, so I don't think they are forced to wear it.

    Re: underneath jerseys

I understand that its not that big of a deal, but I think we are the only team in the Big XII that has that big of undershirts underneath. I just think that it makes our players look like they dont even fit in their uniforms.......................but not that big of a deal

Could be worse. We could look like OU. Blake Griffin looks like he shops at Baby Gap.

    Re: underneath jerseys

Let them wear the undershirts however they want, as long as they are comfortable. At least that's how it was when I played :)

they can't be forced to do it because DG wore a t-shirt last night and he has also done that for many other games. it is personal preference
