Thirty seconds after a job opens, The talking heads and other know it alls, will be out with a list of possible replacements. It's as if the Athletic directors actually needed thes guys to help them fill their vacancys. Now we've got a service that fills the positions before they are even open.
However, it is interesting that two of his staff may be considered and on the move to an 0-29 team and to South Dakota. Hmmm. If either left, that would really hurt team stability for next year - McD would have to start reassembling the team again.
Both seem to be a stretch to leave unless they are not paid enough.

I do think (and this is just my own opinion) that assistant coaches like Leonard Perry and Terry Carroll leaving for head coaching jobs hurt LE's programs the last two seasons he was coach (in addition to a revolving door of players leaving, some recruiting misses, alcoholism, etc.).
But I agree. I wouldn't want to lose our assistant coaches right now in this stage of the development of our program.
