    Cords for a new TV

Hey everyone i know there is 8 million threads of peoples thoughts on what the best hdmi cords are to buy on the site but just wanted to see what all cords i need to buy for my new plasma i just purchased. I am planning on using Directv and haven't bought anything except the tv at best buy. I have seen many people point to monoprice but there are many different types of cables on there. What all do i need to buy for a 1080 42"..thanks in advance

Just buy the hdmi cables on monoprice. Get whatever length u'll need they work great. If u dont buy from there your wasting your money on anything else. If your directv receiver doesnt have hdmi then get the compontent cables instead.

DevilDog speaketh the truth. Monoprice is the way to go. I've bought from them multiple times with excellent results.

Just FYI, your DirecTV receiver will probably come with an HDMI cable. As long as the receiver isn't going to be too far away from the TV, I'd wait until it gets installed before I went spending a whole lot of money on cables.
