Well that's encouraging. RE: Recalled Beef

They are now saying that the majority of the recalled beef has already been consumed. A good chunk of the meat went to school lunch programs.

In one breath they say they don't feel it presents a health risk of any significance, in the next breath they say the reason for the recall was that the rules that were broken were meant to identify cattle with diseases such as mad-cow disease and keep them out of the food supply. Hmmm, which is it?

It's just a precautionary recall. Don't think it's anything to worry about. I believe it's an isolated incident in California.

The beef was recalled to punish the plant for breaking the rules. There is no reason to suspect a health risk.

Maybe the cows in those commercials are not as happy as we are led to believe.
