    HGTV - House Hunters

Okay, I most confess that I like to watch this channel occasionally. Well tonight I was watching House Hunters and the couple were looking at housing in Ankeny. On this show they are showed three houses, and must choose from one of them , will one of the house's they showed was a Cyclone fan's house. One of the bedroom's had Cyclone boarder in it (free advertisement), kind of a neat house. Unfortunately, it was a split level and they did not choose this particular house. Just curious if it was belonged to somebody from Cyclone Fanatic, if so good luck in getting it sold, just remember it only takes one.

    Re: HGTV - House Hunters

I grew up in Aplington with Kristin who was on tonight. She and her family were Cyclone fans. Not sure about her husband though.
I confess, I watched as well, but only the last 10 minutes when mom called from Aplington to say they were on.
I hope the home in question has sold by now. The show was taped over 2 years ago.

I like House Hunters and I'm a straight male. However it's the only show on HGTV that I watch. :)

My name is Mark and I'm an HGTV addict... I saw the show today, it was cool seeing that Cyclone room... My favorite shows on HGTV are Over Your Head and Don't Sweat It. Design Star is also a fun show...

The husband was a ISU fan in high school. He was a Freshman when I was a senior. The weird thing is, he is a real estate agent. JDR group I think

    Re: HGTV - House Hunters

Nothing wrong with real estate-oriented shows. My wife and I watched a lot of them together last year when we were house hunting. As first-time home buyers, the shows helped teach us what to look for and what to avoid. And watching them now gives us lots of ideas for home improvement.

Nothing wrong in watching HGTV. I love watching the work that goes into the architecture and design of homes, and plus, getting some ideas for the future.

One of the shows that I like to watch is Flip This house. Its not on HGTV but I also like some of the shows on there as well. Gives you some good info on what rooms or what parts to remodel if you want to get more money for your home.

    Re: HGTV - House Hunters

Flip this house and Flip that House are two of the best shows on TV. Richard C. Davis is my idol. That guys started with nothing and now look at him... One of the benefits of watching those shows is learning how to deal with contractors in regards to telling them how much you will pay them and when they need to be done.
